JACK + G is a collaboration between Gretchen Anderson and Jack Danziger. We met while studying Industrial Design at Rochester Institute of Technology and Scandinavian Furniture Design at the Danish Design School.
Gretchen began studying fundamentals of classical design at the age of 17 at the Myron Barnstone Studios. She was introduced to the world of jewelry making at a young age admiring her mothers home jewelry bench, fascinated by every creation. Jewelry courses at RIT's School of American Crafts, the Alan Revere Academy and apprenticeships have strengthened her technical understanding, flexibility in technique and passion to be jeweler.
Jacks early fascination with fabrication lead him to study mechanical engineering and industrial design. He has 7 years experience in designing, engineering and fabricating bespoke architectural hardware. Beautiful architectural hardware is jewelry for the home. The techniques used during manufacturing, care and finish are one in the same.
All pieces are handmade in our Brooklyn studio. Our combined knowledge and passion have come together to form Jack+G, we hope you enjoy our work as much as we do.
